Please join us for the 11th annual Derby soiree at SOMEWHERE NOWHERE - one the hottest nightclubs in town - for a day of dancing and lounging with classic Southern Hospitality, Mint Juleps, live music, DJs, and classic burlesque... so wear your best derby hat n'bow tie!

SWING DANCERS - please note: the main club on lower level will have contemporary DJs, and jazz band will perform on the upper level pool deck. There is limited space for dancing on pool deck, and it has concrete flooring. Most guests are nightlife/club crowd, so will be limited swing dancers. We recommend to bring dance partners or co-ordinate with other dancers!
This is the 11th year of NYC' largest and longest running Annual Derby Day celebration!
Over the last decade, this event had the pleasure of taking place at venues such as The Gansevoort Hotel & The Public Hotel. We are excited to Partner with Somewhere Nowhere NYC to bring back this yearly tradition after our Covid related hiatus. This year, the beloved event will be taking place at Somewhere Nowhere NYC, located on top of the Renaissance Chelsea Hotel. We anticipate having the event across both the indoor portion and outdoor portion of the venue subject to the weather.
Every year, we bring forth a new level of experiences and surprises, including:
Over 2000 Roses across the entirety of the venue, a curated menu of light bites & cocktails, immersive-experiences, NYC's best live DJ's, live Jazz Bands, a special performance by a trumpet player, Burlesque Dancers & much more.
Our two-level will have a different ambience and entertainment experience depending on what level you chose to venture to.
Purchase of Admission is highly recommended due to high demand! Derby Day attire ENCOURAGED, best outfit will receive a $1000 prize. And as always, please arrive early.
