 INTREPID: Battle of the Big Bands 2018

Bring your A-game to the Intrepid Battle of the Big Bands Dance competitions. This year we have two competitions: the couples strictly and solo jazz! Pre-lims are set to DJ’d music on Hanger Deck, and finals will be live music on the flightdeck at 11pm with The Artie Shaw Orchestra. 

Prizes include trophies, cash, and winner of solo jazz contest performs at MidSummer Night Swing on July 11th!

STRICTLY / COUPLE COMPETITION
Entrance Fee: $20/couple

Strictly Couple Partner required. Dancers are permitted to use prepared choreography, and aerial sequences.

SOLO JAZZ COMPETITION

SCHEDULE
9:30-9:50 PRELIMS: Strictly / Couples - to DJ'ed music on HANGER DECK
9:55-10:10 PRELIMS: Solo Jazz -  to DJ'ed music on HANGER DECK
11:00 FINALS: selected finalists compete in a spotlights-style jam with live music by The Artie Shaw Orchestra. 
11:50  Competition results announced  
12:15am  ProJam dance circle: Intrepid Swing Dance Brigade, Bathtub Ginny's, and competition winners
